Helen Pent Jenkins

Director of Development

Helen Pent Jenkins has been hired as the new Director of Development. With four years of experience in organizational fundraising, grant writing, and marketing, Helen will be charged with interacting with donors and grant-makers as well as furthering the marketing efforts of the Foundation in the community. She comes to the Foundation from Seattle, WA and is excited to join the Helena community.

Lexi Hampson

Development Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator

Alexis Hampson (Lexi for short) has joined the Foundation to assist with the department of development. She will also be in charge of recruiting and leading the volunteer corps for the Foundation. A native resident of Helena and former volunteer for the Foundation, Lexi brings her background in clerical work and veteran services to serve the Foundation in fundraising and organizing.

Mary Martin

Administrative Assistant

Mary Martin started with the foundation in October of 2010. She is charged as administrative assistant and helps out with bookkeeping, accounting, and Board development. Mary is originally from Butte, MT. Mary’s passion for serving veterans stems from her experiences with her veteran father.

Pete Formaz

Director of Programs

Pete Formaz is a founding member of the Foundation. A former homeless Vietnam Veteran, Pete serves as a living example of a well recovered veteran. For the past 15 years, Pete has served the Helena community as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. He now serves the Foundation as the Director of Programs. He has lived in Montana since 1985.
