Montana Veterans Thrift Store

Veterans Thrift Store - Helena, MT
Coming this fall the new and improved furniture show room! The show room is located behind the Helena Montana Veterans Thrift Store and is open to the public. The show room will also be the space for the "Montana Chair Project."
The project employs a veteran to build Adirondack chairs. The chairs will be for sale at the Helena Veteran Thrift Store and select retailers in Montana. As part of the project initiative, the project also serves as a refurbishing and repair shop for donated furniture that requires special attention. Stop on by and check it out!
The Helena Veterans Thrift Store acts as a work program for unemployed veterans. The store was opened on August 28, 2009 and has since placed many veterans back in the workforce. Veterans that work or volunteer at the thrift store learn life skills including accounting, customer service, and small business management.
All proceeds from the store go to support Foundation programs and helping other veterans.
